His five consecutive wins earned him the second place overall in the series. That’s when his real break came. He was selected to represent Team USA in the 23rd annual Motocross of Nations and his skills helped the team in earning the overall third place podium finish.

2013 was again successful for Barcia. In 2014, he suffered an ankle injury while competing in Monster Energy AMA Championship and forced him to retire from the event for surgery.

In 2015, he broke his pelvis and had to retire from the championship for recovery. After recovery he was given his highest honors when he was made captain of the 3- member team representing USA in 2015 Motocross of Nations. He didn’t disappoint and won his division and claimed 2nd position overall in the event.

Justin Barcia now races for the newly formed Tory Lee Designs Red Bull team aboard a GASGAS factory bike. In 2021, he will compete in Monster Energy championship as well as in Lucas Motor Oil Championship.

In short, Barcia has claimed 25 major titles, including four at the prestigious AMA National Amateur Championship at Loretta Lynn’s ranch in Tennessee.
